Bakugan Dimensions Holiday Tournament: SignUps Nov 22nd – 26th, Playoffs Dec 4th

There is no better way to give thanks to your cherished Bakugan arsenal and bring in the 2010 Holiday season than to participate in Bakugan Dimensions Holiday Tournament! Gather up you most prized Bakugan that you’ve uploaded in Bakugan Dimensions from your real-life Bakugan’s heat reveal DNA Codes. Put your most cunning online battle strategies to action against rival brawlers. Show the world your true calling by winning the title of The Holiday Tournament Champion… and take the hard-earned Championship Prize!

The tournament structure starts with a tournament sign-up week starting on November 22nd and ending November 26th. Any level Brawler with any level Bakugan can sign up by visiting the official My.Bakugan.com community Bakugan Dimensions Holiday Tournament Sign Ups thread here. The first 32 brawlers to successfully sign up will be invited to compete in the Playoffs and Finals Day on December 4th where they will duke it out to claim the title as the Bakugan Dimensions Holiday Tournament Champion.

Bakugan Dimensions Holiday Tournament Structure
The first thirty-two players to successfully sign up during the Bakugan Dimensions Holiday Tournament Sign-Up week will be invited to compete in the Playoffs and Finals. The Tournament Sign-Up week starts on November 22^nd at 1:00pm PT and ends November 26^th at 1:00pm PT. At the end of the Tournament Sign-Up week, the first 32 brawlers who successfully sign up will be contacted by email with their designated playtime in the playoffs. The Bakugan Dimensions Holiday Tournament playoffs and finals will be held on December 4^th, with the first round consisting of scheduled matches starting at 10:00am PT. The playoffs and finals will consist of single-elimination style rounds. For each round, the brawler who wins their match will proceed to the next round. The Final round consisting of the two last standing brawlers will be a Best of 3 match round to determine the Tournament Champion. Participants who make it to the playoffs must show up on time to play their scheduled match. Playoff and final matches will be scheduled by the Bakugan Dimensions Tournament officials. If you are one of the valiant brawlers to be invited to participate in the tournament after signing up, please refer to the Bakugan Dimensions Holiday Tournament Playoffs and Finals Live Bracket for your scheduled match times. Playoffs Round 1 matches begin Saturday, December 4^th from 10:00am – 11:00am PT with the full Playoff and Final day lasting approximately 3 hours.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR COMPETING BRAWLERS:
To compete in the Playoffs please log into the Strikeflier server and travel to the Downtown Plaza 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time. A Tournament Official will pull both you and your opponent to the brawling grounds where you will conduct your match. Once completed, the Live Bracket will be updated showing your new match time should you advance to the next round.

During the month of October, brawlers drew up their Bakugan Battle Gear designs for the Dragonoid Colossus Design A Battle Gear Contest. Inspired to help Dragonoid Colossus in the battle against the Gundalians, contestants created the most colossal Bakugan Battle Gear for a chance to win the ultimate Bakugan prize: A Dragonoid Colossus.

On Saturday, July 24th, brawlers from all over the U.S. converged for the first ever Bakugan Battle League event, held at participating Toys “R” Us stores. The turnout was amazing and the battles were intense, leading to the next chapter in the exclusive BBL Bakugan story. The votes from all of the TRU stores are in and the winning character to head into the unique adventure is Shun!

Prove your battle mastery by brawling against the Bakugan Dimensions Community Managers!

Log on every Thursday between 4pm – 5pm PST for your chance to engage in battle and claim victory on the battlefield against LordDarkus and BrightLight.

LordDarkus and Brightlight will be taking on challengers in the Downtown plaza on the Avior server in this randomly chosen contestant brawling event.

The elite few who emerge as valiant brawlers will be awarded a prized in-game Clear Avior to take to their next Dimensions battle.

Additionally, there will be raffle held at the end of the event where we will be giving away 2,000 BakuCoin! Everyone who sticks around throughout the brawling event will be entered to win.

Spin Master and Toys “R” Us presents the Bakugan Battle League

Spin Master has teamed up with Toys “R” Us, America’s leading dedicated toy retailer to bring Bakugan’s first official national league to Bakugan brawlers across the country.  An exclusive program only at Toys “R” Us, the league consists of five monthly league events taking place at 300 Toys “R” Us locations across the U.S., beginning Saturday July 24, and culminating in a finale event in November.

This one of a kind, never been done story-based league was created by Bakugan’s own game designer in association with Toys “R” Us.  In this innovative league format, every event presents new story challenges and battle scenarios where kids can choose the adventure.  How they play, and how many game points they score directly affects what happens next, and each subsequent league event’s theme will be based on the collective national results of the previous event.

“With Bakugan now into its third season, and with the new online game Bakugan Dimensions having recently launched, the fans are always looking for new ways to battle and engage with their fellow brawlers, says Mark Sullivan, Executive Vice President of Marketing at Spin Master.  “Bakugan Battle League is a great way for fans to meet up once a month to embark on a new and fun Bakugan adventure that they’ve never been on before.”

At each event, participating kids will receive a membership card, league book, an exclusive Special Ability Card, as well as giveaways and chances to win prizes, and a certificate upon completion of the league.  Kids are not required to attend all five events in order to participate, as each event welcomes new and returning players.
