Bakugan Dimensions has finished up the sign up week of the Holiday Tournament! From all over the online world of Dimensions, brawlers have signed up for the 32 position tournament. The brawlers are now being seeded into the Bakugan Dimensions Holiday Tournament Playoffs for Saturday, December 4^th. If you are one of the valiant brawlers to be invited to participate in the tournament after signing up,  please refer to the Bakugan Dimensions Holiday Tournament Playoffs and Finals Live Bracket for your scheduled match times. Playoffs Round 1 matches begin Saturday, December 4th from 10:00am – 11:00am PT with the full Playoff and Final day lasting approximately 3 hours.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR COMPETING BRAWLERS:
If you are scheduled to compete in the Playoffs please log into the Strikeflier server and travel to the Downtown Plaza 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time. A Tournament Official will pull both you and your opponent to the brawling grounds where you will conduct your match. Once completed, the Live Bracket will be updated showing your new match time should you advance to the next round.

Thank you brawlers for another awesome BBL event day! Day 3 of the Bakugan Battle League was held on Saturday, September 18th at participating Toys “R” Us store locations around the United States. We were so excited to watch the action as brawlers battled to vote for the next thrilling chapter in the Battle League story. The votes have been tallied and the winner is… “Similar Crush!”

- Danjay from Memphis, TN reports in with tales of helpful brawlers! During his local BBL event, several brawlers showed up with a Bakugan team that lacked a couple pieces. Veteran brawlers happily provided Bakugan from their own collection so they could engage in the Battle League events. It’s that sort of comradery that keeps the Bakugan community together!

- Bakugan Battle League Minion Force member BakuganFreedom captures the excitement from Hayward, CA. The all-new exclusive ‘Direct Attack’ Ability card was handed out with the Day 3 League Book. On the battling side of the event, the BBL Officials recognized BakuganFreedom’s amazing skills and challenged him to a “Championship Battle” with a fellow brawler. The winner of this featured battled would win a Series 1 Darkus Falconeer! The Bakugan Battle League has been such a huge success that we’ve brought the BBL to Canada! Canada had their first BBL event on Saturday, September 25th and will have their next event day on Saturday, October 16th. Spin Master and Toys “R” Us presents the Bakugan Battle League

Spin Master has teamed up with Toys “R” Us, America’s leading dedicated toy retailer to bring Bakugan’s first official national league to Bakugan brawlers across the country.  An exclusive program only at Toys “R” Us, the league consists of five monthly league events taking place at 300 Toys “R” Us locations across the U.S., beginning Saturday July 24, and culminating in a finale event in November.

This one of a kind, never been done story-based league was created by Bakugan’s own game designer in association with Toys “R” Us.  In this innovative league format, every event presents new story challenges and battle scenarios where kids can choose the adventure.  How they play, and how many game points they score directly affects what happens next, and each subsequent league event’s theme will be based on the collective national results of the previous event.

“With Bakugan now into its third season, and with the new online game Bakugan Dimensions having recently launched, the fans are always looking for new ways to battle and engage with their fellow brawlers, says Mark Sullivan, Executive Vice President of Marketing at Spin Master.  “Bakugan Battle League is a great way for fans to meet up once a month to embark on a new and fun Bakugan adventure that they’ve never been on before.”

At each event, participating kids will receive a membership card, league book, an exclusive Special Ability Card, as well as giveaways and chances to win prizes, and a certificate upon completion of the league.  Kids are not required to attend all five events in order to participate, as each event welcomes new and returning players.

BAKUGAN’S FIRST EVER BAKUCON U.S. CHAMPION & #1 RANKED BRAWLER

BakuCon U.S. Champ --- Christopher Ruff

Fanatics of the toy and TV phenomenon Bakugan traveled from all over the country to New York’s Roseland Ballroom on the weekend, for their chance to be crowned the first ever Bakugan national champion at Baku-Con.  Christopher Ruff of Cerritos, California won the title, besting thousands of tournament hopefuls from Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Orlando and New York.

Thousands packed the Roseland Ballroom over the weekend, as kids not only came to compete, but also to participate in a wide variety of Bakugan activities.  Spin Master flew in 128 of the top Bakugan brawlers from across America to compete in the weekend’s championship event, who had been competing in regional Baku-Con tournaments since the beginning of January.

“Kids are crazy over Bakugan, and they really loved the Baku-Con experience,” said Harold Chizick, VP Global Communications and Promotions for Spin Master.  ”They came out in droves for each of the regionals, and the Roseland Ballroom was buzzing with excitement over the weekend.  The action was just amazing.  Congratulations to Christopher Ruff for being an amazing brawler, and becoming the first ever Bakugan national champion.”

Regional Baku-Con champions are Chicago’s Abel Fernandez, Los Angeles’ Elijah Torres, Dallas’ Nick Spagnoletti, Orlando’s Matt Torres, and New York City’s Andrew Perico.
