Spin Master has teamed up with Toys “R” Us, America’s leading dedicated toy retailer to bring Bakugan’s first official national league to Bakugan brawlers across the country. An exclusive program only at Toys “R” Us, the league consists of five monthly league events taking place at 300 Toys “R” Us locations across the U.S., beginning Saturday July 24, and culminating in a finale event in November.
This one of a kind, never been done story-based league was created by Bakugan’s own game designer in association with Toys “R” Us. In this innovative league format, every event presents new story challenges and battle scenarios where kids can choose the adventure. How they play, and how many game points they score directly affects what happens next, and each subsequent league event’s theme will be based on the collective national results of the previous event.
“With Bakugan now into its third season, and with the new online game Bakugan Dimensions having recently launched, the fans are always looking for new ways to battle and engage with their fellow brawlers, says Mark Sullivan, Executive Vice President of Marketing at Spin Master. “Bakugan Battle League is a great way for fans to meet up once a month to embark on a new and fun Bakugan adventure that they’ve never been on before.”
At each event, participating kids will receive a membership card, league book, an exclusive Special Ability Card, as well as giveaways and chances to win prizes, and a certificate upon completion of the league. Kids are not required to attend all five events in order to participate, as each event welcomes new and returning players.
